BIOGRAPHY

John studied Chemistry at North Georgia College (now the University of North Georgia), received his Bachelors of Chemical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Houston – Clear Lake. He joined ExxonMobil in 1980 as a Polypropylene Process Engineer in Baytown Texas. At ExxonMobil, he has held various positions in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Planning, Product Management, Product Development and Market Development. He currently holds the position of Strategic Marketing Executive for the Polypropylene, Vistamaxx and Adhesion businesses in ExxonMobil where he supports the longer range marketing activities of the Polypropylene business as well as competency and career development for ExxonMobil Chemical Company’s market-facing resources. In 2020, John is celebrating his 40th year with ExxonMobil as the Company celebrates its 60th year as a leader in the polypropylene industry.
