Keith Edwards

BIOGRAPHY

 Keith is a 32+ year veteran of the chemicals and plastics industry, with biopolymer leadership at BASF from 2004-2021. Keith joined Danimer in February 2022 to help launch their signature PHA, Nodax®. His current responsibilities cover a wide range of duties, including business development efforts with PHA, P3HP and biobased polyols for adhesives, packaging, food service and industrial applications. Keith resides in Cincinnati, OH, is married to Erin for 31 years and has two daughters and son in laws. He enjoys all things outdoors, cooking and golf.

PHA's for Fiber and Non-Woven Applications

 PHA's are revolutionary materials in the biopolymer space, offering a naturally occurring material that can be produced from 100% renewable feed stocks, formulated for many different applications, and offering biodegradability and recyclability pathways that are broader and more accessible than traditional plastics. Additionally, PHA's offer no persistence if leaked into the natural environment, and will leave no residues of microplastics behind. PHA's are highly suitable for making fibers and non-wovens of various types, for use in replacing traditional fossil-based plastics.
